HIGH SCHOOL RAMPUP
Saturday. April 27th and May 4th
By 2020, there will be 1 million more computer programming jobs than computer science students in the U.S. (source)
. Every student needs to be exposed to computer programming. Our country's curriculum demands a priority shift, and Startup Institute wants to help.
We are running a two-Saturday series, free of charge, to introduce Boston-area high school students to the world of computer programming. Students will learn how to build applications using their favorite websites such as Twitter and Facebook from alumni of Startup Institute's web development track and RampUp Teaching Mentors
. We are excited to adapt this highly effective curriculum to Boston's younger generation and hopefully inspire them to continue learning how to code.
If you are a high school student and want to get on board, please fill this out. If you know a high school student, please pass this along.
